Welcome to Golden Acre Homestead. We are a registered non-stock corporation located right here in Oak Creek, WI, dedicated to serving our neighbors through sustainable agriculture and spiritual fellowship. We believe that a single acre, tended with love and purpose, can feed both the body and the soul.

Our Mission

To strengthen the fabric of our neighborhood through a holistic model of service and agriculture. Golden Acre Homestead exists to combat community deterioration through three core pillars of service:

• Beautifying Shared Spaces: Restoring dignity to our surroundings.

• Nutritional Support: Providing fresh, organic produce through community-harvested gardens.

• Alleviating Burdens: Offering charitable home and property maintenance services for those who cannot do it themselves.

Meeting The Need

In an era of rising food costs and increasing social isolation, our neighborhood faces distinct challenges that require a neighborly response:

1. Food Security: Access to fresh, nutrient-dense food is becoming a luxury rather than a standard. We grow to share, ensuring healthy food reaches the tables of those who need it most.

2. Community Resilience: Elderly and mobility-impaired neighbors often struggle with essential property maintenance—such as snow removal and home repairs. This can lead to unsafe living conditions and isolation. We step in to do the heavy lifting, so they can remain safe in their homes.
